Check your documentation one more time as you prepare to upload it to the Maryland EXCELS System.
Step 1: Check your document
Your documentation should include:
- Program Improvement Plan addressing:
- Every Domain/Subscale with an Average Score below 4.5 (from MSDE-approved assessment(s) uploaded in ACR 2)
- Accreditation self-study
- School readiness goals and objectives
- Other program priorities
- Statement explaining your program’s process for program improvement. It describes how the Program Improvement Plan is developed and implemented to address school readiness goals and overall program improvement.
Step 2: Save your document
Use a file name you can find easily when you upload it to the system (example: program-improvement.docx).
Use any one of these formats:
- Typed electronic version of your Program Improvement Plan and statement (examples: Microsoft Word, PDF)
- Scanned versions of your Program Improvement Plan and statement (examples: PDF, PNG, JPG)
- Digital image of your Program Improvement Plan and statement (examples: JPG, PNG, PDF)
Step 3: Upload your document (ACR 3.4)
Log into the Maryland EXCELS System to upload your documentation.
