DAP 9: Sharing Results

Overview

Teachers use formative and summative assessments to track a child’s progress and inform their teaching practices. Likewise, teachers can use assessment results to notify families about their child’s progress. Sharing results with families presents an opportunity to discuss their child’s development and provides the family and school a chance to support the child’s development and learning.

Requirement

Levels 4 and 5:

School has a written procedure that describes its practices for sharing child assessment results with families.

Documentation to upload: A statement that describes the program’s practices for sharing assessment results with families

The requirements for levels 4 and 5 are the same. If you meet the requirements for level 4, you will be rated as a level 5 in DAP 1.
