Check your Family Conference statement as you prepare to upload it to the Maryland EXCELS System.

Step 1: Check your document

Your documents should include:

  • A Conference Schedule (when you offer family conferences – examples: 2 times per year; fall/spring; as requested)
  • A Statement that includes:
    • How families are informed of conferences
    • How families sign up for a conference

Step 2: Save your document

Use a file name you can find easily when you upload it to the system (example: family-conferences.docx).

Use any one of these formats:

  • Typed electronic version of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: Microsoft Word, PDF)
  • Scanned versions of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: PDF, PNG, JPG)
  • Digital image of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: JPG, PNG, PDF)

Step 3: Upload your document (ADM 6.2)

Log into the Maryland EXCELS System to upload your statement that describes your program’s approach to family conferences.

Select Add new file, Select file and save.
