Key Terms

Incremental Salary Scale

A written salary scale of increasing rates of pay or pay ranges. At a minimum, the scale is based on an employee’s position, education level, and related employment experience.

 

Employee Benefits

Contributions made by the program to employees, or on behalf of its employees, as an incentive for sustained employment. Benefits are provided in addition to salary and may or may not include financial contributions.
