ADM 5: Parent-Teacher Conferences

Overview

Informal daily communication is one way to build relationships with families, but more formal communication, like conferences or weekly newsletters, can strengthen existing connections. Routine communication keeps  families informed about events in your program. Conferences, for instance, offer a chance to discuss a child’s development, progress, interests, background experiences, and other topics contributing to their development and learning.

The Statement Builder provides a step-by-step guide for creating your statement.

Requirement

Level 4:

Parent-teacher conferences are conducted at least twice per year.

Documentation to upload: Statement describing the school’s policy for scheduling parent-teacher conferences

The next level only has a few additional requirements.
Take a look at Level 5 – you may be closer than you think!

Upon reflection, you are ready to build your statement for parent-teacher conferences.

Reflection Questions
