Check your document one more time as you prepare to upload it to the Maryland EXCELS System.

Step 1: Check your document

Your documents should include:

  • A conference schedule of when you conduct family conferences (ex. 2 times/year, Fall/Spring, as requested)
  • A statement that describes:
    1. How families are informed about conferences
    2. How families sign up for conferences

Step 2: Save your document

Use a file name you can find easily when you upload it to the system (example: family-conferences.docx)

Use any one of these formats:

  • Typed electronic version of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: Microsoft Word, PDF)
  • Scanned versions of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: PDF, PNG, JPG)
  • Digital image of your program’s conference schedule and statement (examples: JPG, PNG, PDF)

Step 3: Upload your document (ADM 6.1)

Log into the Maryland EXCELS System to upload your family conference schedule and statement.

Select Add new file, Select file and save.
